After all of the breads I have experimented with, I realized I never have tried to make a plain white loaf. So here it is, a traditional white bread. Nothing special, just a simple loaf. Doesn’t look too bad – hopefully it will be good for toast and sandwiches!
Here are my latest sourdough loaves and even a sweet sourdough recipe, Lemon Madeleines. I have to say, sourdough is a very experimental journey… a lot of dough has gone down the gurgler, but trying different things has helped. These are the first loaves that have achieved a decent “oven spring” without the aid of any commercial yeast.
