The Aurora last night as a result of the solar flares.

It’s not a great picture, but I’m holding a young, wild falcon. I was in my house and heard him hit a window… went outside and found him sort of stunned on the ground. I picked him up and held him while my husband put the dogs up. After a few minutes I released my hold and he just sat in my hand for a while then ever so lightly lifted off and flew to a nearby rock. He stayed there for a few minutes just looking at me and other things until he was ready to leave, then he flew away. I wanted to get a picture of him on the rock but knew he would fly away before he was fully recovered if I moved. I’m glad he was ok and it was a special experience with a beautiful wild bird.

While giving the hedges a good trim we found this… I never can bring myself to throw them on the burning pile, I usually just stick them back in another tree!
