Baby Pigeon Diary

We are in the middle of raising our current season’s racing pigeons and the breeding season is about half over.  I am going to try to remember to take pictures of a pair of baby pigeons that hatched today to follow how fast they grow from the time they come out of the egg to the time they leave the nest.  It  seems so fast when you’re watching them from day to day, we thought it would be interesting to take a series of pictures as they grow up.  It only takes about 6 weeks from the time the young pigeons hatch to the time they take their first flights, so they don’t stay babies for long!  Click on the Baby Pigeon Diary link at the top of the page to see the pics.
